My First Christmas

Daddy bought a tree at our house awhile ago, and there has been all this excitement on Christmas - Christmas - and Christmas. I didn't understand the whole hype about this until it actually arrived. I LOVED Christmas. We went over to Grandma and Grandpas and then to Uncle Banny and Grandma. I GOT LOTS AND LOTS of presents. I think so far, my favorite one is the one Uncle Banny got me. It's the rainforest jumperoo, and it allows me to jump jump jump. SOOO Much fun.

Lots of People came to visit me today

It's the day after Thanksgiving. I know it's vacation time because I see Mommy and Daddy a lot more then I EVER EVER do. I LOVE it. Lots and Lots of people came to visit me today. I think I'm pretty loved.

Play Play Play

All I do each day is play play play. I LOVE playing with Mommy and DADDy. Watch me play. :)

Turkey Day - Gobble Gobble Gobble & My First Teeth

Except it was only Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Wilson who got to gobble gobble. :( I had to eat baby food. Mommy made Chicken, Turkey Wings and Legs, Potatoes, Spinach and Macroni Salad. I can't wait till next year when I can eat alllll the YUMMMY food.

I also had my first teeth today. I woke up and Mommy saw my two bottom teeth on my lower gums. I'm A BIG GIRL now.

I am FIVE MONTHS old

Today I am five months old. To celebrate this, I decided to wake mommy up at 5am in the morning for my milk. These days, I wish I can see Mommy and Daddy more, but I know they're both working very hard so I can have an easier life when I grow up. Mommy and Daddy has a really nice nanny named Mamatha staying with me everyday though. She comes every morning and spends the day w/ me playing and feeding. I'm just a little princess. Okay - time for my afternoon nap. :)

My First Time eating Rice Cereal

YUCK YUCK YUCK. MOMMMYYYY - I prefer milk. Can I just have milk and not this rice cereal thing?

Pumpkin Picking

So Mommy and Daddy took me pumpkin picking this afternoon. This is my first Halloween, and as you can see, I'm Winnie the Pooh this year. Though it was pretty windy today when you're not in the sun, it was reallly cool. The pumpkin patch had sooo many different pumpkins - and we bought 3 pumpkins home. One for Mommy, One for Daddy and One for me. I think we're going to carve the pumpkins together this week. I want to carve mine with a scary face on it.

Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls was the highlight of this weekend. Mommy and Daddy took me to what was the most famous in Canada - the Niagara Falls. We drove over there before our flight back home - we almost missed our flight back home because of it but it was well worth it. We took lots and lots of pictures and had a great time.

I held my bottle for about a few seconds

Today we went shopping in Toronto with mommy, daddy and a bunch of aunties and uncles. I was hungry in the car ride there so mommy took my milk out to feed me. I think I'm a big girl now, so I tried holding my own bottle. I made it for a few seconds, and then mommy had to help me again. I'm 9 days till I'm 4 months old, I can do it.

A Day of Adventure in Canada

Today is the day right after the wedding. My aunties, uncles, mommy and Daddy took me around Toronto. We first went shopping in the mall. At the mall, Mommy bought a lot of clothes for both Daddy and I. I'm really excited about having so many new and pretty clothes to wear. Next we went bowling. It was suppose to be a game of USA vs. Canada. Very sadly, USA lost - but I think it's because I didn't get to play in the game. If I played we definitely would've won. Oh well, maybe next time. After bowling, we went over to a friends house for dinner. There were two other little girls there that thought I was the cutest baby ever. :) It was actually a very fun day because I got to spend a lot of time with my aunties and reallly get to know them more.

my first trip out of the country

Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy took me to Toronto, Canada. We took a plane ride to Buffalo, NY and from there, Daddy drove us to Toronto. We went there for my auntie Diem's wedding. I now have a new uncle and his name is Uncle Thang. (I hope I spelled his name right). I was very very cranky on Thursday night when I arrived to Canada because it was 2 in the morning, and I was rudely awaken by everyone around me. I guess they were just reallly excited to see me. But once mommy put me back to sleep, when I woke up the next morning, I was refreshed and ready to go. Auntie Diem's wedding was the whole day, but started out early with the tea ceremony. I got to take my afternoon nap, and then we went to their reception. The place was absolutely beautiful - and besides the bride and the groom, I think I got the most amount of attention. I met a lot of aunties and uncles - people I haven't met ever before were showering me with their hugs and kisses. Everyone took turns holding and carrying me and of course taking plenty and plenty of pictures. Here are just some to share with you guys! Hope you enjoy!

I can roll over

My newest development is rolling over on one side. i no longer like to stay where Mommy and Daddy leaves me. Rolling around is pretty fun because it means I don't have to stay in one place all the time till Mommy or Daddy moves me. I'm not very good at it yet, sometimes I make it, sometimes I don't, but overall, I'm working on it. Daddy took me out for dinner tonight with a bunch of friends. Of course, I was the cutest baby in the room. What's not to love about me?

Mommy's Back at Work......

Mommy returned back to work today. It's very sad because I no longer get to spend the whole day with her anymore. I stay home with my babysitter, Julie. Julie lives upstairs from us, and we've seen her a few times. She is a very nice woman. She bought me upstairs today to see their cats. Her cats are very very different then Dee Dee at home. They're soo much smaller. I can't wait to see Mommy and Daddy tonight.

My hands are pretty Infatuating

My hands are pretty infatuating. I love to sit in my little chair to listen to music and play with my hands. Sometimes I like to put my whole hand in my my mouth, but over here, my PJ's just taste sooooo good.

I'm 3 Months Old

Today I'm 3 MONTHS old. My, how I've grown the last few months. I'm double the size of when I was first born. I love to smile, drool and stick my tongue at everyone now. But the thing I'm still best at is crying. I cry when I'm hungry, wet, tired or just want some attention. I love to play now, so if you can keep me entertained - maybe I'll stop crying for you.

Mommy and Daddy took me to the park today to get some fresh air. It's really getting nippy out now. We saw Auntie Angie, Uncle Ming and Ant. Auntie Angie loves to hold me so I was pretty much very happy the whole time we were out. At night, we went to celebrate Uncle Siu's birthday. Mommy and Daddy took me to a restaurant in Great Neck called Harvest Buffet. We had a good time, but it's time for me bed for me.

Daddy can be so mean sometimes. All I wanted was some milk. Though I think Mommy needs to teach Daddy a little bit more chinese. He didn't even know how to say I'm spoiled in chinese. Though - I dont think I'm that spoiled. I'm just helpless right now. I would go get my own milk if I could. Sheesh daddy!

Seeing Mommy's Coworker Friends Again

Mommy's coworker friends Kristina and Carla came to visit me again today. I really like them. They're very friendly and think I'm the cutest baby in the whole wide world. I slept for most of the dinner that Mommy had with them, but when I woke up, Carla was carrying me for some time. She talks funny to me, it's very different from how Mommy speaks but I like it. It's sorta musical. I think I would like to see them again some time soon.

Usually Daddy goes to work on Mondays and I spend the whole day with Mommy, but I learned that today is actually Labor Day. I'm not sure what that means yet, but I'm guessing it's a good thing because Daddy didn't need to go to work and I got to spend more time with him. Mommy and I went over to Grandma's and we had Dim Sum with Grandma and Uncle Wilson. And then at night time, Uncle Stephen and his girlfriend Emily came over to visit me and took us out for dinner. We went to a nice Italian restaurant in Cross Bay name Vincents. Mommy and Daddy really likes the food there. Hmmm, I can't wait till I'm old enough to get a platter of it for myself.

Saturday seemed to have turned into family day. Today, Mommy and Daddy took me to Williamsburg to walk around in the park and the neighborhood. Uncle Ming also came out with us too. I think Daddy wanted to play tennis with Uncle Ming - but for some reason, they weren't allowed to. It was very very humid and sticky out today, but I had a lot of fun. Uncle Ming really loves me. He pushed my stroller as we were walking, and was holding and playing with me a lot whenever he had a chance. At night, we sat in the backyard with Daddy's tenants in Williamsburg, BBQ'ed and watched a movie. I was mostly tired from such a long day of walking around, and the heat, so I slept a lot. Mommy was very tired by the end of the night; but I started not feeling very well. I ended up keeping Mommy up half of the night. I dont think Mommy was very happy with me especially since I heard she had to wake up very early the next morning.

We did a lot of stuff today. I had a very fun time. The only thing I hated was that mommy messed up my schedule. After we woke up at 10am for my feeding, I didn't get to fall back asleep comfortably in my bed. We met up with Auntie Jessica and ate dim sum and then took her grocery shopping. Afterwards, we went over to Auntie Jessica's house for a BBQ. There were a lot of other grown ups and children there. Everyone thought I was a cute baby. Everyone kept mentioning about the amount of hair I have. I do have a lot of hair huh? Everyone took turns holding me. There was this little girl name Alexandra who I heard is 14 months old that kissed me on my cheek. The only part that I hated about the BBQ is that mommy wrapped me up in multiple blankets because it was cold and there were lots of mosquitos flying around. I think Mommy got bitten about 6-7 times. I guess it's a good thing I was all wrapped up.

I wasn't a very happy baby today. Mommy and Daddy took me to look a lot of different houses today. I don't know why we were doing that, but it was very uncomfortable for me. It was hot and humid, and just so much getting in and then getting out of the car in such short period of time. It made me very cranky. It took mommy almost 2 hours after we got home to eventually calm me down again. Oops. Sorry Mommy.

Today - my mommy took me to my 2nd month checkup. I'm 11 pounds and 1 ounce and 22 and 3/4 inches long now. Doctor says I'm doing very well, and this is very good weight. My doctor's name is Dr. Goldstein. He's a very nice man. He always picks me up, plays with me a little and then sends me back home with mommy - but today, he was very very mean. He stabbed me 3 times with 3 different needles. Mommy says they're my immunization shots, and I need them to grow up to be a big and smart girl. Mommy told me I was very brave, but ouch they really hurt, and now my thighs are all sore. :( I hope we don't have to go back to him anytime soon.

Today we went over to see Grandma. Daddy drove us over, but didn't stay with us. I think I heard mommy say that he's going to play basketball. I wonder if Daddy will teach me how to play that when I grow up. Grandma and Grandpa treated me like a princess when I got there. Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Wilson took turns holding and carrying me. I love to snuggle up against them. Grandma says I look like a boy - I don't think I look like a boy right now. Do I? Maybe I just look more like Daddy - that's why.

I'm 2 Months old today. I'm a big girl now. I wonder where mommy and daddy are going to do for me today. I heard mommy has to go to the doctor today - I hope she'll be okay and come home soon to spend time with me.
